Should I alter grandmother's almost-discarded wedding dress?

that is sooooo beautiful! I always wanted to get married in my mom's wedding dress, but she burnt it after her and my dad split up. lol. but go ahead and wear it. it is gorgeous and it would have so much more meaning if you wore it :)
