How do I file income tax on my Avon business if I didn't make very much?

Last year I started an Avon business, but I only profited like $200.00. But I spent like over 200 in gas for meetings and trying to advertise and I spent like 186 at the post office mailing booklets and products and stuff. I was wondering since I didn't meet the quote to be required to file, can I still file as a loss and at least get back what I spent in? Any serious help would be appreciated. I have already talked with two HRBlock reps and they keep telling me I need to just come to an office, but I want to know can I do this before I go or would it be better to just hold it and file everything together next year?
