When you shave your hair in legs, does it become thicker?

shaving a hair on legs and arm will make you white right? i shave my legs 1week ago and its starting to grow. i'm worried because , what if.. its prom night then, you should wear dress right? my problem is.. my back is hairy too. but not that much .. i shave my arms, and it become whiter after i shave it. my back isn't white because its hairy like i said .. should i shave my back too? to have a fair skin tone.. or should i let my arms and legs get back to hairy to have a fair skin tone like my back does? thanks..
