How long to wait to have sex again (very painful today)?

Today was the fourth time my boyfriend and I tried to have sex. The first was too painful and can't really be classified as "sex." The second time a few days later it went perfect, little pain, he went all the way in and it was fine. Third same as the first but we got rushed and weren't able to really try. Today he made it fairly far in going very slowly, for the last we decided just to push but it hurt so much i started crying and he pulled out. It still hurts now 7 hours later but isn't bleeding anymore. Should we wait a few more days before trying? Or would it be better to try again tomorrow?
